waiting for godot is the most well known play from the theatre of absurd movement written by samuel and perfomed for the first time in paris 1953 .

has been compared to the intellect which provides for the body reprresented by estragon
lucky : slave of pozzo tied to pozzo via a rope around his neck and carries pozzo ‘s bags
pozzo : the master of lucky he stops and talks to the bums in order to have some company
A boy : the servant of MR godot he plays idential role by coming to inform both bums the MR godot will not be able to make it but he will surely come the next day ( has a brother as well but it never appears )
Godot : the man of whom both estragon and valdamir wait god , never appears in the play his name and character are often thought to refer to a god
